Sorry I went on a rant. I am very glad you are able to do this kind of work! Burnout is very high in child welfare and other social work areas. I obviously have no good tips. But, do you have a strong support and people to talk to? Do you try to always do things that you enjoy? Don't forget to take care of yourself! That work is stressful and you need your well being!
It's pretty common for social workers to move around frequently and switch job paths. It can be healthy to do. Do you ever think about trying to switch to another area? I was even talking with a woman who said that if you become burnout in an area you may be of better service to another type of community. There is only so much we can do, being human and all.
