I'm new to the group. Also I'm suffering from a panic attack at the moment so, please bear with me.
I know what is causing my panic attacks. I haved to go to court with my ex-husband on Tues. He filed for a decrease in his child support. He says he is making less wages and has another child. I don't know if the wage part is true but the child part is. I also know he has changed positions at his job and is trying to start up a cleaning business of some sort. His gf is the woman he cheated on me with and is also the childs mother. He hasn't been making full payments or any payments lately.
I am currently remarried. My MIL lives with my husband and 3 children and myself. Only one belongs to my ex-husband. My MIL is wheelchair dependent. I take care of everybody and not much of myself. We all have some sort of mental health issue. We don't have a car and live in a rural area without a public transportation. I use a health isurance base cab service for dr. appointments but for any other needs we have to use friends. None of us are able to work because of our mental health disorders. We don't get welfare but do get disability payments.
I'm learning behavioral therapy skills through my therapist and am on meds also I have a psychiatrist who prescribes them. I see the dr. on the same day as my court date.
I'm so angry at my ex that I want to hurt myself or him. I know that hurting myself won't help anything but...... its hard to explain unless you've been there. My daughter to my ex wants nothing to do with him. She is going to be 17 in November. The courts see her as old enough to make her choices when it comes to him. I'm afraid that he will get the decrease. Even though I have proof of needing the amout of support where its at if not an increase.
I just don't know what to do anymore. I feel like I'm going insane.

Hi, do you mind me asking how the court date went? Im sorry you are going through these stresses. I have been a single mom for quite a few years. As far as his dad paying child support? Zero. As far as you're ex not making the paymnets or payments in full, you are still owed that because he wasn't granted the decrease. I know it might be a possibilty it will happen and I know how difficult it is. I work a part timejob and having bipolar disorder and paranoia is a toll on my everday life. Struggles with money and even thoughwe live with my boyfriend, I still pretty much raise him on my own. Do you have support from you're family and friends? You're husband? Its difficult to be with someone that has mental health issues. You have to learn to support each other. On the other hand, they might be very understanding. It's very difficult to try to have someone understand what is going through you're head and how you're feeling. Im hoping for the best for you.
