I have an appointment tomorrow with the maternal fetal medicine doctor to go over test results in hopes of finding some answers for the loss of our son at 30 and a half weeks along I'm going over test results and highlighting things I have questions about and this is a big one on the surgical pathology exam under final diagnosis it says:
Vilius edema
Chorangiosis
acute intervillositis associated with focal evolving infarction
no hemorrhagic endovasculitis
And eXperia nice with these terms? I'm desperately searching for answers.

Villus has to do with particles in the placenta and edema is a fancy word for spelling so villus edema is swelling in the placenta. I had this too they just didnt use the medical terms... Mine was post birth because my doctor literally had to detatch it from my uterine wall herself.

no hemorrhagic endovasculitis breaking it apart again, essentially there was no hemmorhaging in the uterus.
The other one sounds like more stuff inside the placenta.
Good luck with everything. I really hope you get your closure and like me it isn't something you could've prevented. My little acrobat tied a knot in her umbilical cord and cut of her oxygen and blood flow. I promise if it is something you could not have controlled or had any way to prevent, the grieving process is just a touch easier.
