Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
Support from mothers here on DS is really great and after joining here I knew I was not alone.
I went through phases of extreme sadness, continous crying, starving myself, feeling angry on myself, on my doctor and then again crying but at the end I was still alone and without my baby.
It has been almost 5 1/2 months now since the loss of my baby and now I do cry less but miss him always.
I do believe in life here after and I try to be happy for my son who is free from worldly troubles and enjoying in the heaven. I hope one day God will let me hold him again and that will be the best moment.
I have sort of started questioning my faith in god and the power of prayer since my third loss. It's a tough thing to continue for me right now. Keep up all of your positive activities fellow angel mommy! You are a an inspiration
I agree that time heals all wounds, Jesus heals and is near to the broken hearted.
It's been almost 4 years since I had my angle baby Elise and I ran from God for a long time but I just started listening to Christian music about 6 months ago and started going back to church here and there and I look up bible verses on pinterest and have the daily bible app.
This all helps me too. And getting out your feelings, you just have to make sure you share your feelings with the right people. That's why I love this site!!
Thanks for sharing! God bless you on your journy.
Oh and for my daughters 1 year angle birthday I had a birthday party for her and celebrated her life with my family and a close friend. And what I thought was going to be a sad day was actually a very happy day. We all socialized and sang songs and ate and laughed.
Remember the good times with you baby in your womb ladies! Celebrate their life in you because only you have that memory.
Much love! Hugs!!
I think if i had never found this support group I would still be crying everyfay. Because my first weeks everyone was like stop crying. You are yound...you'll have more kids.... i didnt want to hear that. I wanted people to undestand my pain. I wanted to lrt them know that i was really hurting... that my dreams and heart wee broken and torn apart. But no one could see that at all...only you ladies. And like AWarden mommy said... you've had 3 losses. Have faith I know its hard but I know there's one God... and you have to get you trust in Jesus. Jesus "loves every children of the world"... and what better world than heaven. Imagine one day being received by you 3 angels. I had mention before I read "Heavrn is for real" its the best story in the world... the little boy Colton tells his story of his visit to Heaven and who received him, Jesus. It talks about time in heaven. Everytime I dream of my son I dream of him as a 3yr old.
I recommend this book. It help me through my tough days.
Thabkbyou for all the support you ladies have given me. I encourage you too also from tine to time re-post if ypu have to how ypu made it through... every week.... we have a new person here... lets help them a little bit make it day by day....
We will always love and miss our angels....
I once read a quote that said "No amount of tears will ever bring you back, because i have cry them"
Like my husband tells me... try to be happy, and help Eli rest in peace. Let him enjoy his time in heaven , one day we will ever to cry of happiness with him in heaven.
