My son was born silent on 3/13/2018. I am at a loss of words and still coping. After an ectopic last year this was my second chance at giving birth. I really wanted this pregnancy and I feel like this was my last chance because I am 39 years old and the rates of stillborn births go up after 40. I cry and cry because there are no answers yet I don't know if I'll ever understand why but just needed to talk to others who have been in my shoes to get support. This is very hard to deal with!
My son was stillborn over four years ago at 39 weeks. The devastation was almost unbearable, but with the help of grief therapy, my faith and the support of loved ones I have made it. It's not easy and the pain never goes completely away, but in time you will begin to heal. I just wanted to give you hope from someone that has been there. It's gets better.
