This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. I cannot tell you how many people have told me “it will get better” after having my stillborn in Aug of 2015. His 2nd birthday was supposed to be 3 days ago and I can honestly say nothing has gotten better. I have no one to talk to because people that have never experienced this thing that I would wish on no one, do not understand. They think it’s as simple as “just try to have another kid”. They make me feel stupid for still caring and crying about what happened two years ago. There will not ever come a day where I wake up and I’m happy that this happened. There is no looking on the bright side. It’s just heartbreaking.
I am so extremely sorry for your loss. People do not understand and it is frusterating. I lost my baby boy at 39 weeks this past August. It is all so horrible!! Do you have any traditions on yours sons birthday? Something you can do every year to remember him? I got a latern made with stars and my sons name engraved on it. On every Christmas, Birthday, New years, Siblings Birthdays or our Birthdays (husbands and mine) we will light the candle in the lantern. This is all so hard, but please try to remember that you are not alone and that ,thanks a lot to the internet, you will always have people who know how you feel.Any time you need a chat feel free to message me.
