I am just posting this to see if anyone has had a similar experience. I finally opened the mail from today and found a "congratulations" letter from our local Children's Hospital. They were congratulating me on the "precious new addition to our family." The letter went on to rave about the services they provide for newborns. I was stunned. I sat there reading the letter over and over wanting to cry but slowly getting pissed off so the tears never came. This is one of those "do I just let it go or should heads roll over this" moments. Where would they have even gotten the information that I was ever pregnant in the first place? The worst part is, heads will have to wait to roll until Monday morning since no one will be in over the weekend. I'm furious and want to avoid any other angel mommies getting similar nonsense in the future.

I received a letter similar to that after Morgan passed. It was a little care package that included a small pack of diapers and formula. They requested that I complete a survey as well....I was not very nice!

Unfortunately you may need to brace yourself for more things like this. I don't know how the hell they know but somehow the frickin diaper companies find out and they send crap loads of diaper coupons and like morgansmama said formula samples. I got things from Sears and Olan Mills advertising newborn picture sessions. I got things from Babies R US and Target congratulating me on the new baby. Things from Kroger with coupons for diapers and formula and baby tylenol. It was too much. I even got emails from all those places too on top of frickin facebook ads popping up on my facebook account. I had a breakdown at Aaron's one year angelversary because I got two flyers in the mail, one from Party City and one from another random party supply chain with big pictures of Baby's First Birthday supplies on the front! THEY KNEW HE WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A YEAR OLD! I was so torn up about it. It had to be from registering for my baby shower at Babies R Us and Target because they asked for my due date.

All of those finally stopped but just last week I went to the pharmacy to pick up my antidepressant and the pharmacist tells me, "It says in our computer that your currently pregnant? You can't take this antidepressant if your pregnant." I was like WTF? Where the hell did that come from, no I'm not pregnant. She looked at me crazy like I had offended her but it was a stab in the heart cause my oldest son was standing there with me and he got real excited and was like, "Oh mommy you're pregnant?" and I had to tell him no, they made a mistake. Then after that I got a letter from my insurance offering free prenatal classes and newborn care classes for our little one that we were expecting. That must have been sent because the pharmacy thought I was pregnant. I was fuming mad about that. I have no idea where they got the info that I was pregnant cause I didn't even see the doctor when I had the chemical pregnancy in October.

Sorry so long, lol. I guess this is just a sore subject with me. Feel better though venting about it. :)

I say "YES"! Heads should roll. It is one thing for diaper companies and such that get your info from where you register, but an entirely different thing for the hospital to do this. I would have been horrified and extremely upset had this happened to me. Did you deliver your angel at that hospital? I am surprised they didn't update their records. Wow! I am so sorry this happened to you. Hugs your way.

WOW!!! My boyfriend i received a congratulations card and gift card from his insurance company yesterday!!
It hurt so bad!! My heart aches for you!!!
