Yes some people can be ignorant like that.... Sorry going through this.... After I lost my son...ibget social anxiety...I can not be around a big crowd of people. This past Saturday ibwent to the mall with my husband i came out from there angry...mad...upset... Crying.... I see some mommies yelling at their kids... Others carrying their babies or with a stroller....
People often tell me I need to get over it and try to live my life and enjoy every minute of it. That I will be having more kids...howbthebhell do they know...I've being trying to get pregnant for the past 10 months....

I have a friend who once told me that she knows how I feel because her grandmother lost as many children as she gave birth to. I wanted to ask her what she was thinking when she said that. If anything, her grandmother knows what I feel, what I go through. I hate it when people say things so matter-of-fact. I know that she is only trying to show that there is light at the end of the tunnel, but how can you know and how can you be so flippant about it? We've been trying to conceive again for the last year. I struggle with the thought that I may not be able to have children again. My periods are so out of whack that I wonder every month if I have viable eggs. So it's wonderful that her grandmother was able to have healthy children, but I'm not there yet. There may be light at the end of the tunnel, but I'm still completely in the dark and that scares the crap out of me.

I can so relate with both of you, I get the "at least you can try again" all the time! Yes we can try again, yes we will try again, but that doesn't erase our baby that we lost. That doesn't take away the short life he had growing inside me or the memories of his birth or the pain of losing him. We will always be missing a child. We are currently trying to conceive again and I have chose not to tell friends and family, because I don't want everyone waiting on us to announce were pregnant, it could take months, or years we have no clue. We know now more than ever that we don't control everything our bodies do. But everyone thinks because we conceived so quickly the first time it's just gonna happen like that again, we know better than that now.
I have a hard time seeing babies in the grocery store or anywhere, I immediately tear up at the sight of a baby I have to walk away, gather myself and the return to that area when it's "safe". We have a cousin who keeps pressuring us to go camping with his friend who has an infant son finally I just yelled at him that my baby died and I don't want to be around anyone else's baby! I said it in as many ways as I could until I realized he wasn't getting it. People really do say the stupidest things...

I feel the same! People say things like that all the time. I just wanna scream imagine your holding your sweet child.dead in your arms now would what you are saying to me help you? People feel uncomfortable around me when I try to talk about her. She's my baby. My angel! They just dont understand. Im so sorry someone would be so insensitive! Your precious baby matters so much!

People say things that upset me all the time. They act like I should be over it but you can't and will never get over it. I am saddened by other people, even ones that have been there can say stupid things because they didn't feel the connection i felt with my babies. "You mAy not get to have babies" and "why are you still crying about that (or having panic attacks)" are two of the stupidest things. I had one person hand me a book of devotional bible verses and tell me all my pain and troubles would "go awAy" if I read them and went to church. That person had NO idea and has NEVER experienced losing seven babies to recurrent miscarriages, three of those being past 16 weeks with knowledge of the genders. People just don't think sometimes. I get it so much.
