Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
I have found this place to be wonderful. My counselor is an angel on earth and helps in a different way. My DS sisters help in another. It is a good balance..
Hugs!!!

Now, about therapy... You need to find a counselor or therapist you feel COMFORTABLE with. The first two I meant I didn't want to sit with, let alone talk about my deepest darkest. Third time was a charm, I met a wonderful professional counselor who was amazing. She reminded me of my grandma, sitting on her porch drinking tea and talking about everything! Now as for GROUP therapy, I did not find it as helpful. I was in a group for two years for military parents who had "lost" their children, Sids, SB, MC, (one of them was there for their six year old daughter who was KILLED by a family member). It that kind of environment, you can share freely, people listen, but they are also thinking about what they are going to say next. I would venture to say it was a good place to go AFTER my one-on-one therapy was over. Kind of like why I keep coming back to DS. It reinforces the good and positive. But therapy was helpful to me... I hope you find it helpful too! (If you need anything, Don't hesitate to message me!!!!!!)
