Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
As for your brother, I am glad that his baby was born healthy, as I am sure you are too. But you have every right to feel angry about it, you have every right to feel jealous and sad. They are your family and they should understand this. When you feel ready, go ahead and see the baby, but until then dont push yourself. Just send them a text or something congratulating them and explain that although you are very happy for them, right now you cannot see the baby. They will understand.
Please, dont force yourself to do anything that you do not want to do right now. You need this time for yourself. I am sending hugs and prayers your way and again, I am so very sorry for your loss.
The way your feeling is absolutely normal...i have several friends who just had their babies and i feel the same way....im happy for them i really am...but i am sad and angry at the same time...i want what they have..i want my baby here and healthy so i can care for her...but im sure your brother knows and understands that you are hurting right now and im sure he will understand if it takes a while before your ready to talk or see them...i have a hard time leaving the house let alone seeing children..most days i dont want to see anyone...just take one day at a time...and your brother knows your happy for him...even if its hard for you to say right now....I also wanted to tell you that your son is Adorable...a beautiful little angel
