I'm so sorry for your loss. Losing a baby after a 100% notmal pregnancy is horrible. My husband and I loss our baby boy at 39w4d after a great pregnancy. It has only been 3 weeks since I gave birth and the pain is very much still here. It all feels like a dream and as you said, we sit in a house full of things for our babies that we never got to bring home. Please know you are not alone.
You asked waitformeangel about work. I'm taking a month of and then slowly starting to go back to work as I feel that I need some routine back in my life. Sitting at home alone while my husband is back at work drives me insane. I feel like all I do is think about my baby boy Luca and that I never even got to hear his first cry. It may sound bad but I feel like I need a little distraction.
Take your time and do what you feel is right for you and your partner and talk about it with people close to you. I find it helps me to talk about my pregnancy and about Luca, not to everyone but to the people close to you.
Once again I'm extremely sorry for your loss. I know it doesn't change anything but I know how you feel.
Sending light and love

thanks for your comments ladies. its so nice to know im not alone.
We also decided against the PM. My doctor was pretty sure that our precious boy passed because of a cord compression. He was born with his cord wrapped around his legs tightly several times. She said it was an unfortunate accident, nothing we could have prevented. But this doesn't make me feel any better, just more fearful of the future.
I hope you get some answers, can't promise how much they help your grief, but you deserve them nevertheless.
how have we coped? Jesus Christ has been my only strength. I have since learned that God is a just and kind God and will not want to take my baby from me, so why did it happen? I don't know however one thing is certain that God had made provision for me to comfort and guide me through the grieving period. People around us wonder how we can still laugh and go on with life....I still cry a lot but I do not allow myself to stay put in that position. This is because I am determined to have another baby which I will carry for the appointed time and give birth to. I will give birth to another live baby. My hope, trust and confidence is in the Lord. Is it that easy ? I say no but everyday I speak life to myself and my husband. I want to encourage you all that we can overcome this pain through the help of God. The Bible says in Isaiah 53: 4-5 that Jesus Christ bore our pains, sorrows and griefs when He died on the cross. It also says that by His stripes we healed from any sickness or disease. I have found tremendous strength from the scriptures and I sincerely encourage you all to do so if you want to. Only God can understand the way we feel. Other people who have not experienced this type of loss cannot understand- do you notice how every body has gone back to their normal routine? but God has promised He will never leave us nor forsake us. I pray that we all find strength to pull through this very dark period and that we all come out stronger on the other side. Amen
