I don't post on here too often, but over the past year this message board has been a comfort to me. So I figured I would share my thoughts on anniversary of my daughter's birth/death.

When I first started looking at this board I was still sitting in the hospital, trying to process what had happened. I took solace in reading the stories of so many women in so many different places. You all have helped my grieving process. It has been a rough road, but a year later I have some peace-- so maybe this will give hope to those who have newly joined this group.

I am still angry that this happened to me, I still miss my daughter every second of every day, and I question why God did this to us... but the pain is less raw.

There is no magic pill to get you through it... I wish there was... but little by little you heal. There will always be a scar... but that scar is a reminder of the love that you have for your child.
