I just recently lost my third child and I have no idea how to keep going anymore. We we're hoping she would be our rainbow baby. Our first two we lost at 22 weeks, I never thought I could move past it but then our dreams seamed to come true. I got pregnant again and we made it to 34 weeks with no issues besidesfake contractions. Then on September 1st I went in because I felt some pain and I wanted to be sure there was nothing wrong. I had felt my little girl move an hour before so o thought nothing of it until they couldn't find a heart beat. The plasenta detached and I had to have a C-section. I am now healed and back to work and I am finding it very hard to be ok with never having a child. I find myself going to sleep every night hoping I never wake up. How are you suppose to keep going when everything seems so pointless. I no the pain will never go away.

I’m so sorry for your losses. I couldn’t begin to imagine the sadness you feel inside. If you don’t mind my asking, why is this reoccurring? Is it something chronically wrong causing the placenta to detach? These may seem like dumb and inconsiderate question and if they do, I apologize. I simply would like to understand your story better and maybe provide some words of encouragement and hope at a time when it feels like there are none.

I have just had horrible luck. I found out with my third child, Mya, that I have celiac which was probably why I lost the first two. So I stopped eating gluten and things were going much better. I some how ended up getting preeclampsia which caused the plasenta to detach. We were under watching full eyes I told them about everything symptoms I had but I didn't have any of the normal signs. My BP was fine until after she was born. They aren't sure if I got it before or after birth. My husband and I decided to not try again because of how anxious I was the whole time.

I am so incredibly sorry for your losses. The pain of daring to hope, only to have it unexpectedly taken away is so difficult and raw. You are strong, for going back to work, and for getting out of bed each day. My one loss nearly broke me; I cannot imagine the strength it takes to survive three. The decision not to try again is personal, and totally understandable. If that is what you and your husband decide, that is okay. If, after some time, you find the strength the try again, that's okay too. Pregnancy can be difficult, even when it goes smoothly. Pregnancy after a loss is a very confusing, two-faced animal. I hope that your heart begins to heal, and you and your husband find peace, no matter what the future holds for you.
