Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
Wishing you sticky rainbow baby dust!
The first 3 months I wasn't ready to discuss it seriously. And, actually, in my first month or 2 out I tried to avoid areas online where there was lots of TTC-talk - however, I was curious. I was so curious I read a few others' stories. I read how hard it is - how the next pregnancy will be filled with anxiety and bittersweet memories. That scared the curiosity out of me and I stayed away from it again. Not until just recently have I started to look around the corner.
I hope we can look to TTC soon. I really do want a baby in my arms, badly. It won't fill the hole in my heart that I have for her - maybe it will help my heart to expand just a little larger.
I may actually actually be expecting my rainbow right now from IVF.
I think that rainbows give us all hope, but I can see how it can make some sad.
Now I am there - I have found the strength with the help of you my sisters to get to the point where i too am ready to try for my rainbow. Together we anxiously wait each months outcome and question what can be done to improve our chances next time.... and hopefully we help inspire hope and belief in the next sister that joins our group, so that they can also move towards the rainbow.
It does hurt a bit to know that others are getting there rainbows, but I will forever only have children in Heaven. That being said, I also think that every woman on here should have their rainbows if she wants one (Lord knows we've all suffered enough and deserve a baby in our arms). If the posts begin to bother, I simply won't view the ones labeled TTC or rainbow. So, I think if you title your posts appropriately, it shouldn't be a problem for anyone.
