This could be the wrong place to talk about this but this is where I feel most comfortable. I'm sorry.

It has been 1 year and 2 months since I delivered my angel, Braedyn. He was/is mine and my husband's first child. It took us 2 1/2 years to get pregnant. I have fertility problems. I have PCOS. We have been trying to get pregnant again for a while now and nothing. I've been taking Metformin for about 6 months and I'm on my 3rd round of Chlomid. And nothing. All I have to show for it is being sick. This 3rd round is a triple dose and it is making me so so so sick. I am pissed. I want to be a mother so bad. I want to be pregnant again so bad. And I feel so hopeless. And I am not trying to replace Braedyn as some people seem to think. There is NO replacing my son. He is my son. He is a part of my family now and forever. There is no changing that.

I'm sorry if this frustrates anyone or upsets anyone. This is just a safe place for me...

This is the perfect place to address your fears and share your frustrations. All I can say is I hope things get easier. It is a long, tough road.

Big hugs to you! I don't think your post would ever frustrate or upset anyone! This is what we are here for. I understand the struggle with fertility, though my issues are different...I hope I can give you hope! My regular doctor and 2 specialists gave me no hope of getting pregnant on my own, but it happened. After surgery and drug regiments...nothing. Then, after giving up for a month before starting the next round of drugs to prepare for another surgery...you guessed it. I got pregnant...all on my own. It was a miracle...all my doctors were stunned. Now, obviously since I am on this board, my miracle ended sadly with the loss of my son at 37 weeks, but I still have to hold on to the fact that pregnancy happened. You have to stay as positive and as hopeful as you can, no matter the circumstance. We are all pulling for you and I will be praying hard for you!!! Hang in there!

Yes, I don't think you should worry or apologize about posting this here!

I have PCOS too. I got pregnant twice in 6 years naturally. And I was on drugs too several times. It wasn't easy. I have an appt on Friday to start again. I'm afraid everyone will think I'm trying to replace Emma, or that I've moved on. This couldn't be further from the truth. I just feel like I'm not getting any younger, and I want a baby so badly. What I really want is to have Emma back :(

i too have PCOS, and used to take metformin.
the hospital told me to try the GI diet instead. ive lost 3 stone in weight in 4 months!! and the other symtoms are getting better.
bad Diet is one of the main causes for PCOS, and if the diet is not changed you can end up being diabetic. have a look into it. much easier to deal with than all the drugs they gave out, they too made me feel really sick.
