Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
Our stories are so similar. I am 31, was told at 28 that I would not conceive easily and would need to go the IVF route (BTW-I didn't need it). My little angel was delivered on January 6th, 2011 and I, too, was nearly 6 months.
It is very sad that we all have to join this group, but I am so glad that I found it. It has been a blessing for me the past three weeks.
Please message me anytime you need to chat. Again, I am very sorry.
I lost my son at 6 months from kind of the same thing. My so was/is very active and coiled and knotted his cord. Its was explained to me that its like what you pinch a garden hose. jan 23 was my sins due date.
Right now you are going through a lot. And not many people can understand. A lot of other people try to brush stillbirth off. I hope you mourn and cry and lay in bed because it will help. Just don't do it for to long. Give your heart time to heal. Only you know when its time to try again.
Feel free to message me anytime.
Cord accidents like the one you experienced are not related to your own health, so if all other things remain constant it seems like you have great chances of your next baby making it into your arms alive and well. I wish you all the best.
I lost my first born in June to a cord accident (it was also a nuchal cord). I'm 18 weeks pregnant again, and am just holding on to hope that everything will work out. Some days are easier than others, but in my heart I do believe that what happened was just a horrible accident and I'm at no higher risk than I was the first time around.
be gentle with yourself these next few weeks. You have come to a good place to share any and all of your feelings and concerns.
