Has anyone else became ill after a loss. My daughter was stillborn in Dec. 09 and I was diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder in Feb. 2010. How do you cope? I find it hard because the medication they have put me on isn't safe with pregnancy. So time goes on and I can't even try to conceive. It's frustrating.

I am so sorry you are in this situation. I have heard of this before, but do not personally know of anyone, so I am sorry that I have no advice. I will keep you in my prayers.

Have you had an in depth discussion with your doctor about having another child? Maybe you can stop taking it in order to conceive and/or find an alternative treatment for TTC and pregnancy. I was diagnosed several years before, not after, conceiving. I was told to stop my meds 2 months before conceiving. With my illness, it actually backs down during pregnancy, so I was better off being pregnant and didn't needs meds anyway.

I'm sorry I can't help you with how to cope. I suggest finding out as much information as you can and seeing if there is indeed a way for you to possibly manage your illness while trying to grow your family. *Hugs*
