I've never posted here before, but my son, Alexander, was born sleeping on 12/13/14, on my due date. I often come here and take comfort in reading others' posts. I feel as if a part of me died when my son did. It will never make sense to me that after a normal and uneventful pregnancy, the day after a routine OB appointment, when all was well with us both, that my sweet son died. A part of me died with him. I have an amazing 2 year old daughter, and sweet husband, who grieves in his own way, but loves and supports me, but I feel so alone and broken. The postmortem testing came back normal for both of us, and I don't understand why or how this happened. Nothing is more important to me than my family, and no job has ever been more meaningful or fulfilling to me than that as Mom. I have had a rough path in life, and I feel like I have paid my dues. Why do bad things happen to good people? He was so loved and wanted, and I couldn't even give him life. I'm just feeling broken.
