this time last year I was pregnant with JoAnn we didn't yet know she was a girl and we went to the parade with family and friends even sat next to a family who had a baby girl who was and the holding her head up on her own but still not doing it to well stage. where I imagine my baby girl would be by now if. . . and my family has gotten to the point where they think its ok to point out babies and expect me to be happy and smile a look and do everything that I did before (except my husband).
I used to be such a baby person they would look at me and I would inter act with them but now I cant even look at them. I avoid waiting in lines where there are pregnant women or women with little babies because I get angry and it hurts. I think they are stupid they have no idea how stupid lucky they are.
I keep thinking we are going to be surrounded by babies and im not going to be able to handle it and my family is going to be ashamed of me or something.
this has been the first holiday I was looking forward to while decorating and its been so nice being happy. I was feeling normal. and then I thought of this and now im scared and I just want to lock myself away until its over. Do I just buck up and face it and hope everything goes ok? or should I pretend im sick and not go?

Wait and see how you feel that morning. I'm finding with a lot of things the build up is worse than the actual event. If you feel up for it then go, but don't force yourself if you're not ready. There's no right or wrong here, there's just surviving and making it from day to day.

I understand how you feel. I don't like going anywhere with kids either. I miss my babies so much. Every holiday gets sad for me and people fail to get why.

I totally get what you mean by not liking to be around pregnant women and women with babies..it makes me bitter also. I had my 6 week checkup on Wednesday this week and seeing all those women bothered me so bad. Then a women with an 11 month old GORGEOUS baby girl came in and her and I were talking and she was telling me how she has lupus and she wasn't even supposed to be able to have children and that her daughter was a miracle. It really made me think. What happened to us could happen to anyone of these other ladies and yes it is extremely unfair but sometimes we need to just except the things we can't change and realize it does happen to a lot of people..it's not just us. This may not help but I just know I'm trying to fight my bitterness towards other mommies also so I thought ide share my thoughts on it.

I totally understand you, do what makes you feel better.... For all major holidays I stood home with my husband.... I also do not like being ng surrounded my people specially when there is pregnant women around.... And specially if they now what I went though... They are excited yet try to Avoid talking about it because they feel uncomfortable. After a year and over a month of losing my son...i still have breakdowns.... Last week inhad an anxiety attack and started crying while I was a t the mall.... My husband felt bad.... He said he should've listen to me when I said I don't like being around by overcrowded places. When I go to the store o have a lost of exactly what I am going to get...is an in and out shopping day.
