Hey ladies....

Haven't been on here for a while now but have been drawn here again as my angel's anniversary approaches. My beautiful girl Alexandria was born still at 32 weeks June 20, 2011. I have been having flashbacks of that day these last few days and just can't sleep.

I was wondering if you ladies had any ideas on what I should do to celebrate tomorrow? I want it to be a positive day, I want to remember Alexandria and smile. I miss her as much as the day she first left me...I've just learned to live with the whole in my heart.

I really like the idea of a balloon release.I have seen other angel moms do that, and it is so beautiful.

Im thinking of doing that for my babys 1st birthday. Aug. 10th, I want to do a little more but Im still thinking of what to do as well. I hope you get some good ideas. :)

My angel's first birthday is coming up on the 29th. We're having some close family over for a meal, I'll make a cake and cupcakes with pink frosting. We're going to ask those that came to help us make stepping stones in her Memorial Garden. We're then going to paint things on the stones in glow in the dark paint. We'll probably release a balloon as well. I'm also hoping my mom and sister will help me finish her scrapbook.

I don't know what else to do or even what to call this. I'm so lost without her. :-(

I always light the candle I got in the memory box for my angel on her angelvesaries. I also try to do something to honor her each month, like adding something that reminds me of her to our family scrapbook or add something of hers to the memorial area we have for her in our room.

A balloon release, as other mummies have mentioned, or a luminaria outfront of your house are great ways to honor your angel.

I as others have mentioned released balloons on Lauren's 1st birthday in January. We got a cake and had dinner and talked about her with Family. I think it really comes down to doing what gives you the most comfort. The day she died was the hardest day for me I sat with her ashes and her Molly bear in bed, let myself relive things and cried and talked to her. By her birthday I was doing alot better and it has gotten better since. I wish you peace and love on this special day and hope you feel your little girls presence. Love and Light.

I am honoring Annaya's memory by hosting a book drive "In Memory of Our Angels". Every time a book is opened an angel's name will be read. I'm also releasing balloons.
