Here I am again totally broken. May 2011 I lost my beautiful baby girl Amelie at 39 weeks due to a cord accident. My dr recommended another c section to deliver her since I had a previous one for my son who is almost 6 years old. Dr recommended to wait a year to try again so after 15 months I was pregnant with my Rainbow. I felt happy and had a lot of faith that everything was going to be ok. Suddenly at week 6 I started bleeding so I got very sad thinking that I was probably having a miscarriage without knowing that nightmare was coming. Went to ER and the diagnosed me with a C section scar ectopic pregnancy, none of the drs had ever seen a case like mine before so they didn't really know what to do. They recommended to stop the pregnancy due to the risk of uterine rupture and they didn't really give me any other option :(. Has any of you know anyone that had this type of ectopic??? My dr recommended surgery to repair the scar but I don't really know what to do. Suggestions please I am desperate.
You were forced into a very difficult situation where your own life was in danger. It is a very real danger. My dermatologist shared her own story, which is similar to yours, with me after my first loss. Her uterus ruptured when she was pregnant with twins. I believe she had her daughter via c-section prior to this. I'm not sure if this was because of the scar but she nearly lost her life because of the rupture. To make it worse, neither of her twins survived because they were too premature. You will certainly be in my prayers. Oh, I am so sorry...
