Since the loss of our daughter on 10-15-2014, I have been wanting desperately to try again. I have 3 older kids and this was my husband's first. I understand he was devestated. We have been together 6 years. At first he wanted a child and then changed his mind. I accepted it, however, May of this year, I found out I was pregnant. Not knowing how he would feel, I told him and he was actually excited and happy. For 6 months I saw how happy and excited he was to expect his precious daughter and to become a father for the first time. The day we lost our precious baby, he was devastated and also expressed that he wanted to try right away again. It made me so happy to hear that. A month after losing our baby, I wanted to try and that's when I found out he did not want to try again. Last night I was feeling so depressed and asked him again if he wanted to try. He stated that at this moment he did not want to try. He asked me why I was so eager to try again. I told him that I needed to fill the void and that I was ready to be a mom again and for him to deserve what it feels like to have his own child. He asked me what happened to accepting it before I was pregnant. I told him that was the case....before I wasn't pregnant, but now that I have had a baby, it completely changes everything. I want more than ever to try again. I am 41 and I am not getting any younger. Am I jumping to conclusions, because I feel that maybe he feels that I am not the one for him and maybe he is planning to leave me. I guess with the loss, I am already at my lowest point in my depression, so there are so many things running in my head. I don't know what to do. He did mention that he wants the holidays to pass and her due date is around the corner. He also mentioned that there are times where he can see himself being a father and times where he doesn't see himself being a father. So, I'm not sure if he is still mourning or if he plans on leaving me. He doesn't express himself and it's so difficult to get anything out of him. Please help.
