After I lost my baby to stillbirth at 32 weeks in September 2014 I was so heart broken I never went to discuss the lab workup that was done while I was in the hospital to deliver my baby. I know I can never get my baby back and it will trigger an emotional feeling that will make me more upset, but finally today I went to my primary care physician whom I requested to get the reports for me from the hospital and discussed with her the causes that might lead to the death of my baby. I cannot go and see my obstetrician ever again because I had a very very bad experience with her. The results showed that I had a sudden increase in blood pressure that went un identified until I went to get a checkup for absent fetal movements. The planceta had infarctions and the blood supply to my baby was compromised leading to his death. There was no indication of any infection but my obstetrician kept on telling me when I was in the hospital that I did not take precautions and had an infection. I feel so upset when I think of her blaming me for killing my baby, on the other hand my primary care physician today explained me that there was nothing I could have done to prevent it except that I was monitored more closely as a highrisk pregnancy. I never know of I will ever get a chance to be pregnant again because of the infertility issues and I feel so upset that I lost my only chamce of having a baby for reasons that are still a mystery in medicine. The doctor told me they never know why the blood pressure increased all of a sudden and stopped the blood circulation to the placenta and the baby.
