So yesterday was a hard day for us. We went and picked up Parkers ashes. It sounds weird but I feel relief, I am happy and sad. Happy because he is home tucked in his special place with his little teddy bear blanket from the hospital, his picture, and his little monkey blanket. but sad because he is not physically here. The thing is I now wish I knew what caused this to happen :( I fear the doctor is going to tell me that is was a lack of oxygen and nutrients. I kept getting Gall bladder attacks the whole month of January(which I have never had any issues with until pregnancy) I was soo sick couldn't keep anything in and it was an almost everyday thing. :(

On a better note Feb 27 I am getting my gall bladder removed so if wont be an issue down the road. Still scared and worried about it all.

Hi, i had my angel baby almost 4 years ago. I'm so glad you felt a since of relief. When we got a grave marker on my daughters grave I felt closure.

Don't beat yourself up though. The drs. Don't know why I lost my daughter and I beat myself up for a long time because they found I had a blood clotting disorder and I felt like I could've said more when things didn't feel right. But remember you did everything you could do.

I also felt a sense of relief when we brought Stephen's ashes home. There has never been a medical reason for what happened to us, and I have come to terms with that. I wish you the best.

I also felt relief after I had Eli's marker on his grave. For me it took a while because we were financially not ready for the marker. And when we finally had the money we paid in full so that it could be done.... The funeral lady called me once and said it was going to be ready by July2014.... When the marker arrived the edges where not smooth enough so they had to send it back. My heart broke.....all over again.... So they send it back and on their attempt to fix it. They broke the marker in half so it even took loooonger to get it complete. So they had to start from scratch. The by September I still didn't have the marker, i lost Eli on May 2014. The cementary had told me that by October they don't place headstones maters etc. I was devastated luckily they made an exception and the weather was a great help as well. The first week of October they were able to place his marker on the grave. I was soooo relief after that little by little I got "OK" and more at peace. You will always have upsband downs but you will have your bright days.... I thought those days where never gonna get here. You will learn to cherish your baby's memories witouth crying. I promise.

Thank you everyone. Surgery went well I feel so much better now! Now just a long road to recovery physically and mentally.
