So yesterday a pregnant neighbor I don't know came home with her newborn baby. I was looking out my window right when they arrived. I felt so horrible. Her and her husband and mother looked so happy. I broke down. I really don't want to envy her and I wish no one my misery but has any one else felt this envy. I wish it was me and my husband smiling. I lost my lily Feb 21 2015, 3 months ago. I don't know why I care about these people I don't even know them. Is this nuts?

If that's nuts then I'm one crazy lady. I felt envious of everybody I saw, every where. I'm better now but still get moments where it hits.

You're not nuts. My facebook is filled with people who made pregnancy announcements and show off their babies and I feel envious too. I always ask why it had to happen to me and then I would have dark thoughts, but it's gotten better. The more people I meet who go through this pain, the more I know that I wasn't singled out.

This is normal it's being 12 mths since we lost our baby boy and I have had close friends and relations who have had their babies since then and I also felt so hurt and I often found myself saying why us why did everyone else get to have their baby and not us. Life is very cruel at times its being 12 mths on and I still do be envious of other people so this is quiet normal. Xx

Perfectly normal. I can't even see a pregnant woman or newborn at the store without thinking why couldn't I have that? Why me??? I imagine this will pass in time. Four months out, it's already subsiding a bit.

I feel the same, I go to the store with my eyes on the floor because I don't want to look up and see pregnant women or babies, I deleted my Facebook because friends who were pregnant with me are reaching their due dates and all I can think is, I should be. I should be about to bring home my son, I should be preparing for his arrival, instead I'm grieving him and missing him. Life is not fair.

What you felt is what I pretty much think we all feel. We have suffered a traumatic loss and there will always be triggers constantly reminding us of what we should have had. Our babies should be with us right now and it's not fair. Sending you lots of love.
