does baby fever ever go away?

Hi. Anyone who has me as a friend on here knows what a hard time I have been having lately. We lost our rainbow and now my boyfriend is completely done trying for another. He's made up his mind and at this point I don't blame him. He has a good point, I'm 20 he's 21, he's working a dead end job I'm still in college, we technically could "afford" a baby, meaning they wouldn't starve but it wouldn't be easy.

Even as I'm saying all this I'm thinking I DON'T CARE I CAN MAKE IT WORK I NEED A BABY. It's been a little over a year since we lost Sophia and this baby fever hasn't lessened much. I think about it every few seconds.

Basically I'm asking if this is ever going to go away? Am I ever going to not be fantasizing about having a baby again?

Hasn't gone away for me since I lost my first baby in January 2010. I think it's here to stay until I feel like I've tried everything and exhausted every option. Even then I will still want one, and will adopt. Only a baby will make it go away for me!

It's been 14 months and now and I am longing for another baby of my own. No baby will ever replace Annaya but my empty arms need to be filled.

I lost my daughter christmas eve 2 years ago, I was nearly 3 months along and It has only been 6 month since I lost my son, but we are TTC again, we weren't sure we were ready for the first 3 month but then discussed it and decided that we are just going to let nature take it's course and when it happens it happens, that was the plan we had in place when I was pregnant with Troy, that we would have our children close together so when my body is ready again I'm sure I'll get pregnant :) All we want is another baby and although we know that nothing will ever bring our babies back and we are NOT trying to replace them but we do want to honor them and give them brothers and sisters and we both feel that having another baby will give us hope and comfort and a reason to be happy to be alive again. I don't think my baby fever will ever go away until we have our rainbow.

I'll let you know if it ever goes away for me.

Mine hit 3.5 months after our loss. Before then I wanted nothing to do with another pregnancy. Now that it's here, it's definitely a fever! My husband is out of town and we've got a big move coming up. That distracts me plenty.

Maybe all your boyfriend needs is some time, like I did. I know that you don't want to hear that and I know very well how hard it is to be patient. Your time will come, honey, trust in that. Try to focus your energies on school and hopefully a better job will come along for your boyfriend and by the time you get your rainbow (and don't worry, you will) you both will be in a much better place then.
