Stillbirth Support Group
This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. For help and support, share your experiences and learn how others coped. Don't forget that you are not alone.
I agree with Jennieluv that is comforting in these dark days to have the support and I thank everyone for sharing.
Jennaroy, thanks for letting us know what it is like two years on. I too lost my baby boy in early October (at 31 weeks) and I do wonder if this pain carries like this forever. Everyone says time will heal but I don’t think u can ever heal but u just learn how to cope. Glad to hear you have found some solace two years later. And thanks for coming back to support us others going through the rough patch.
Jennieluv, I felt baby quite unusually active the night before he stopped kicking too. It’s your maternal instinct that tells u something is wrong and you got it looked into so know that there might not have been anything you could have done to save baby Laylah, so even though you will find yourself doing it but don’t blame yourself. I have to keep on telling myself that too because otherwise it can bore a corrosive hole in you and that’s not helpful to anyone right now when you should be trying to physically and then emotionally recover. Take care and know that you spent 8.5 beautiful months with your gorgeous girl and those memories will last a lifetime xxxx
