This community is dedicated to those who have been impacted by a stillbirth. A stillbirth occurs when a fetus which has died in the uterus, during labor, or during delivery exits a woman's body. It's been over two years since I lost Sophia at 38 weeks. I have a lot of good days, although not an hour goes by when something doesn't remind me. Some days are like today, when I feel like looking around for her, like she should be here. I hate that I want her still so much, I still want to hold her in my arms and kiss her and when I remind myself that won't happen I get so mad. I want to be like the other moms with pictures of her up on the wall and bragging about my baby girl learning to talk and walk right now.
It's not all bad, I have healed so much and for the most part I have come to terms with this as much as I can expect. But today I miss her so much, and it's almost like if I closed my eyes she could be here with me. I love you baby girl, I wish you were still alive.

My first baby has the same name as yours. I lost our Sophia to miscarriage on 02/26/12. This day last year, I remember having our first ultrasound at 9weeks when we found out Sophia doesn't have a heartbeat... I miss her dearly as I miss her little sister.
It's just so painful to miss someone knowing we could never see them again here on earth but I'm learning to TRUST again. I can feel my faith and hope returning.
I pray that one day we see the purpose of all these in our lives...
