I have found working out to be very helpful. I have been trying to do at least 30 min. of cardio every other day. It has been a good outlet for my anger and frustration, and has been helpful to gain "control" over my body when i feel as though my body failed me and my baby.
I'm taking prenatals, iron (with vit B, folic acid, and Vit C) and calcium daily.
My midwife said to wait 2 cycles to TTC again. I feel like for me this is a way to move forward with my life. Although i miss Brooklyn and so wish she was here with us, i can't do anything to change that she can't be, and really am trying to work on acceptance of that.
I am also trying to get some final closure with the why's about the situation. I received the results of some lab work today, and everything came back normal. I also have an appointment next month with a specialist to discuss if there was anything abnormal he found in my file and report, and also to get recommendations about the future.
I'm a planner so not having my future be what i thought it would be, and not knowing what to come is hard for me, but i'm trying to get through it.
It sounds like you have made a lot of positive changes over the past few weeks, and I think that is really going to help you to feel better and get to a place where you can work through the grief and your feelings of loss.
We always knew we were going to start trying again when we felt ready. So that is what we did, we got our selves in a better place mentally and physically, by taking vitamins, eating healthy, working out. We spent a lot of family time together and slowly started trying again. Now Im pregnant with our rainbow, and trying to stay busy , gardening, cooking, spending time with my family. I wish you the best you will find what comes next for you. Take your time with it.
Nobody can tell you when it's right. You have to decide what feels right in your heart!
