March 1st was a year since we lost Jayda...me or my husband never said anything to each other about it, even though we both knew what day it was...we have her ashes and pic in our hallway and i said a little prayer to her and talked to her, and i know he would have too...we do talk about her sometimes, but it seems easier for both of us to grieve seperetly, does anyone else do this???, sometimes i think, she would think i have forgotten about her cause we dont talk about what we are thinking.
We lost our baby Layla 26 march 2012. When it first happened my hubby couldn't be in the same room as here ( in Australia we can keep the baby with us for a day or so before the funeral home ppl come to collect) but I wanted her and couldn't stop holding her and stroking her cheeks. Hubby did bath her and dress her but it was to hard for him. I organized most of the funeral and then organized what was to be written on her plaque, hubby still hasn't been to see the plaque.
I think women have the abbility to switch off even when it's in our faces. Also we don't talk about. I think maybe it's because we love each other so much we don't won't to make each other sad by bringing up. It maybe a way of protecting each others feelings. We are definently grieving desperately.
