Well, last night i was late taking my pill by two hours. and I realized this the exact moment my bf and I finished having sex. (my birth control has to be taken within an hour every day) I was given the "morning after" pill at the same time as the birth control, but I don't want to take it because for one : I believe that a life begins before "conception", and is preordained, and also because I took it a few times before, and no one ever told me it can increase your risks of miscarriage.

But at the same time, I'm terrified of a new pregnancy. My bf is totally against having another baby so soon, and I have a few medications that I'm on that I need that I can't take while I'm pregnant, it's just something for a rash but I think I shud clear it up before i become pregnant. Also I'm on a few anti-anxieties that I wud have to stop. I'm so confused! If this is my rainbow I don't want to stop him/her from being born, esp after losing Sophia, but also ... I'm scared. PLEASE I NEED ADVICE ANYTHING HELPS! I MEAN ANYTHING! thanks

Your chances of a pregancy is about 20% without being on the pill. Do you know where you are in your cycle? If its not with in days of ovulation than you won't get pregnant. I don't know what the risks are by being a couple of hours late the pill, but I would think it wouldn't be that high. If you do get pregnant than its maybe meant to be.

The window for you to conceive sounds very small. I would put your my at ease that if you were taking your pills consistantly before last night your body wouldn't get pregnant that fast. You also took the pill after you realized so the hormone is in your body.
Take a minute to talk with your boyfriend about your fears about being pregnant right now and just wait to see if anything came of it. Call your doctor after the weekend if you are still feeling anxiety.

Are you ovulating? If not, then there really is nothing to stress over. Do you take the pill on a regular basis? If so, then you should not get pregnant as it would take time for the meds to leave your system.

i took birthcontrol for many of years, and i rarely ever took it the same time every day, i'm not saying thats a good thing and i'm not saying that you cant get pregnant from doing but i am saying in my case i never did. after i stopped birthcontrol it took us 8 months before i became pregnant with our first son Vincent. Just be careful and i wouldn't take the morning after pill if i was you. your pill stays in your system so hopefully you'll be okay and if you are pregnant again then the time was right and your bf will just have to deal with it. hopefully your okay though. Keep me updated. I'm here for you anytime and i'm praying for you that the outcome is good.

I didn't always take my pill at the same time everyday either. It was still effective as I didn't get pregnant until I stopped taking it completely. I wouldn't take the morning after pill either...but thats just me. I don't think I would ever take it in any case.
I feel the same way about getting pregnant again. I'm scared too. I think that even though you took it late it will still be effective. Hugs. Jessie
