Step Families Support Group
Traditionally, a stepfamily is the family one acquires when a parent enters a new marriage, whether the parent was widowed or divorced. This community is focused on many of the relationships and issues that may arise within stepfamilies where you may find answers from some members and you may help other members with their questions.
I'm not sure if anyone here even comments anymore, or hopefully they are just happy in their situation and don't need to. I do hope that is the case. It's been awhile for me. And nothing has changed. In fact it is only worse. I find myself more and more contemplating life without him. My heart aches when I even think about it. But I have to wonder if I will ever be treated as a equal? Or even the other adult in this house. I just feel as though I exist and the housewife who does everything. I never receive any thanks for what I do. Just attitude. And I feel him

His lack of commitment also makes me feel insecure in our relationship. 4 years we have been together.

We are headed to Vegas next week for a vacation. It will be interesting to see if he can focus on just us rather than his daughter the entire time. I don't have high hopes but I trying to have faith. I believe this could be a make or break vacation. We shall see......
