Spouses of Transgender Community Group
Being transgender it's not easy but neither for their spouses. This group is created with the intention of helping and getting to know others that are in. the same situation or to just educate those that are on the other side of the fence and want to know how does it feel or how would it feel to be a spouse of a transgender person. The main objective of this group is...
I have the same questions too. My H came out to me in December last year. At first I tried to be ubderstanding, then I started to realize that my own stability felt to be cracking. After a while I was able to explain the things that I just could not tolerate. He is a good guy, and I know he has tried to be considerate....but one of my rules is that I will not engage in relations while he is wearing a night gown......it is a huge turn off for me, and it is a constant reminder to me of what we no longer have and iam losing. He is very sweet, and can be very tender and caring. He continues to try to engage me while in that damn night gown. I don't want to have to be hurtful, but I'm afraid I am going to have to be the real woman in the relationship and put him in his place. Ugh....why can't he just listen to what I have said? If I give in even just ince, it sets a precedent, and like with children, you give an inch, and they will exploit you for everything they can! I hate this. I just want my husband back. I know I never will have him back, but that is what I want. I feel like I will participate in this song and dance until ultimately I can't stand him or any of it any more, then it will just be done.....ugh.....20 years, leads to this.......
