Spouses of Transgender Community Group
Being transgender it's not easy but neither for their spouses. This group is created with the intention of helping and getting to know others that are in. the same situation or to just educate those that are on the other side of the fence and want to know how does it feel or how would it feel to be a spouse of a transgender person. The main objective of this group is...
On a side note, you should get tested for STDs and make sure he does as well. You certainly don't want things to be more complicated!
Such a sad and troubling situation to be in, and I feel terrible you are going through this. Going forward, I think it would be helpful to try and separate the infidelity issue from the crossdressing/possible trans issue. If you think you want to leave, you have every right to that feeling, as CD/trans is no excuse for infidelity, even if it is a reason. If you want to stay, would it be possible for you to explore his CD or trans identity with him? It wasn't clear whether you had already done this or were open to it from your original post, but you certainly should not feel you have failed if that's not possible for you. Good luck with whatever you decide, and thank you for sharing with us. Sending you strength!
Sending love.
It sounds like your husband really needs to decide what he wants his sex life to look like. Having affairs and going on hook up sites is really no good when he's turning around and possibly having unprotected sex with you. I know we sound like broken records, but it sounds like your husband really needs to see a therapist and probably a both of you need to go to a couples therapist.
I would suggest maybe you guys could have an open relationship, but even in open relationships, there are rules that both partners need to follow. Your partner hasn't been honest with you and hasn't allowed you to make your own boundaries and rules.
*hugs*
I had a gut feeling my partner was up to something one night and boom I found a video of him dressed with another man dressed and well let's just say not full intercourse was done.... I was heartbroken..... it's took months for the trust to come back and then I find he is still talking to people on a new Twitter account.
I feel like I have become a possessive stalker...which I am not. I'm not even the jealous type, but I have also never been treated this way.
I look at my partner and I love the bones of him, I was even coming round to him dressing for me (which he has never done in the 8 years we have been together).
So I feel exactly the same as you
Thinking of you both!
