Being transgender it's not easy but neither for their spouses. This group is created with the intention of helping and getting to know others that are in. the same situation or to just educate those that are on the other side of the fence and want to know how does it feel or how would it feel to be a spouse of a transgender person. Oh well....I will delve more into his website and links within the next couple of days and see what I can find.
Essentially, though, my husband will have to find out for himself. No matter what it is a mistake, but he could go either way in admitting it. No one likes to be wrong and with this, it is especially difficult to swallow that pill...whoops, guess I really am not a girl.
I guess I feel like his motives and/or point of view are skewed because of the religious factor.
The larger part of the transgender community will discredit anything coming from a religious standpoint. Even if you are giving concrete evidence that transitioning is not the way to go, if you mention God, in any way, you are discredited.
I personally don't care what a person's beliefs are. I look for intelligence, kindness, and humor, oh, and common sense...there are a lot of people lacking in that department. You got all of that and you could worship an alligator god that demands human sacrifice for all I care.....okay, I would care, because, you know, I wouldn't want to be sacrificed like that.....anyway.....I digress.
