Spouses of Transgender Community Group
Being transgender it's not easy but neither for their spouses. This group is created with the intention of helping and getting to know others that are in. the same situation or to just educate those that are on the other side of the fence and want to know how does it feel or how would it feel to be a spouse of a transgender person. The main objective of this group is...
I can probably not fully understand your pain yet because my husband is not thinking of transitioning yet, but I do understand the heart break. He just told me 3 weeks ago that he is trans and I am a complete mess. We have 2 children together. I'm so lost and don't know what to make of it all. I want a man to love me and be my husband. I'm not attracted to women at all. Just the thought of him wanting to dress in women's clothes and wearing make up makes me hate it all for self too. This is not how life was supposed to go. He is otherwise an amazing husband but I feel like this taints my feelings towards him and make me question my own sexuality. Please feel free to reach out at bnaamzindagi@gmail.com if you need to talk.

This stinks.
For the fist 2 months (after he told me) I sobbed every day. I don't cry everyday now but I don't have any answers yet either. I have only told 2 friends, both who live hours away. Have you looked for a support group near you? My husband has a consular, and sometimes I go too and it is helpful. Some of these online groups are helpful too. At least we are not alone(although I sure feel like I am sometimes!!).
Let me know how you are doing, hug.
I understand how it can feel to not be able to share this with anyone. I only confided in my sister because i was going crazy but nothing feels good. I have not started therapy yet so maybe that will help. I am trying to look for a consular that my insurance will cover. I don't have much support other than this platform. Its funny what life throws at you. My husband was my best friend that I could tell anything to. I always discussed my problems with him, but now I cannot be totally open and honest with him without hurting his feelings. It sucks. He understand that I am not able to look at him as a women and he does not want to change anything right now but I am still not able to accept all of it. The uncertainty of everything haunts me. I wish there was an easy solution to all of this. Let me know how you are doing. Tc. hugs
I feel the same way you do. He gets excited and happy about transitioning, and I just can't deal. I was looking forward to us becoming parents, not his opinions on how female clothing sizing are screwed up. *sigh*
