Thanks for the feedback SheasWife. You are not alone. It's a rollercoaster ride! there are days I want to jump off, and days when I want to shove him off... but most days I'm just white knuckling it... It's so hard and nothing anyone can tells you can prepare you for the daily ups and downs. Poems let me get my thoughts out and my emotions are allowed to flourish without hurting anyone... it's the beginning of my healing. I hope it can do the same for you. I think starting to write is a good idea. Somedays I just feel trapped, I cant voice how I feel because then he's being hurt but in the midst I'm lost and hurt. Its a whirlwind for sure but at the same time I wouldnt teade his happiness for anything. Trying to figure out how to get together a legit support group since the resources for partners are so slim...
