She Shatters the Essence of Me
I think I'm alright and ready to fight,
Then he utters a word of her being.
He will show me an image or share a delight,
And inside I shudder and scream.
"How can this be!! Why IS she!?!
How can I possibly share the same space?!?"
The things I should wear
The things that give me happiness,
Are now hers to consume.
There is no room for both of us.
She makes me feel vile.
She's intrusive and pushy
With all that should be for me.
But there is nothing left for me.
It's all taken.
My youth,
My beauty,
My figure,
My paint,
My wardrobe,
My feet,
My shoes,
My lips,
And my hips.
All taken and exchanged for a temporary fix,
While you shatter my heart and the essence of me.
You have come between my husband and I
Trying desperately to tear us apart.
And for what? Just to walk in my heels and dresses?
You shred my love with every stride.
You break my heart
With every flowing movement of your skirt,
And every thigh high that you put on
You take him further away from me.
You take up his mind
As you snake down his legs,
You take up my heart
As you show in his face.
You might not be real
But your presence is felt,
You are always between him and I.

After falling asleep in my tears
The morning comes
And for a brief moment

Then I feel his body against mine
And all is well in my world
We fit together, we look the part
I think, "I'll be just fine"
We embrace and sweet words he speaks
His body tells me that I'm the one
His blood rushing to meet my thighs
He touches and holds me oh so sweet
Until he utters a word about her
My insides coil, my blood runs fast
I hear it rushing in my head
My ears are screaming with my pulse
All that I wish is that she's dead
The ugly duckling slowly "swanning"
And I'm sitting in the distance crying
Where did she take my man?
What has she done with him?
Why does he flock to her?
Why am I not enough?

You don't know what an honor it is to know that these touched you... not that I'm glad you cried, especially at work... I just feel less crazy knowing that there are others that see this.... know this... and live to tell the story like me. Thank you Jax for your truthfulness and for your feedback. Your work is the same to me. It's truly a reflection on the human experience, not just the TG thing. And soooooo sexy, woman powered. Don't for a minute think you have been robbed of your female soul, it's right there, under the surface.
