Wednesday the 10th of April is our wedding Anniversary. I am honestly at a loss on what there is to celebrate. I do not feel like this is a marriage anymore. There aren't any anniversary cards that even cover our situation. A month ago, my husband got laid off. We were already struggling financially, now this.My husband decided maybe she would retire because at her age (62) it will be difficult for her to find a job she likes. So she is collecting unemployment for a couple months, then will retire. Since she stopped working, she spends most days sitting in her recliner watching Netflix. Once in awhile she does fix dinner, but does no housework, and on days she doesn't go anywhere,doesn't bother to shower. All of these things are making me feel resentment. I work still, so it really makes me angry when I come home to find dirty dishes, etc. All she has to do is put them in the dishwasher. She says sometimes when she bends over she gets dizzy, so therefore she won't take care of her dirty dishes. Saturday I had an upset stomach all day. Sunday I was awakened by her ranting because a certain pair of lounge shorts weren't clean. I snapped that perhaps she could stop complaining and do her own laundry if she doesn't think I do it fast enough. Feeling more discouraged by the day.
