H calls me after leaving the court house with bad news and good news.

Remember, they found OW because of my online detective work and sending them screen shot proof that she was, in fact, employed and where she worked, since both the address and phone numbers they had for her were no good.

They sent an officer to the business to serve her, and she was off that day. So they couldn't serve her, but obviously her coworkers let her know that they were looking for her. Next thing we know, the court called the business themselves yesterday in an attempt to verbally coerce her to come to the courthouse today, and we're told that OW quit!!! They gave the court the contact information they had on file for her, and what do you know, she is no longer at that address and her phone is disconnected. The DA shared this with H and the Judge this morning. H said "Well that's convenient, isn't it." The DA said it was suspicious. Because now it seems to them that she is purposely running so that she can keep the original ridiculous payment order and not have it lowered.

Unfortunately, the judge cannot move forward with a new order unless she is there. However, they said after so many attempts, they can file a motion to move forward without her for being uncooperative, which just further makes her look bad.

Here is where the good news comes in. H quit his job because he couldn't manage a store and go to school full time. So he is just going to school and receiving an income from his VA benefits. The DA told him they cannot garnish his VA benefits, so now the garnishment has to stop anyway. So they told him, since he is unemployed, to just pay the required minimum $100 through the state website.

It makes me smile because I want to see that slut's face when she goes to use that CS card and there is only $100 on it. She'll come crawling out of her hiding place and call the court demanding her money and they can bring her in.
