Is anyone still taking meds?

I have noticed that my stress levels are starting to shoot back up again. I am having trouble sleeping and I have no desire to do anything. I want to hide. So I was wondering if anyone got meds to help them through this? Did they work? Do you still use them? I would think 2 years later I would be dealing with it a little better, hmm.

Yes you would think time heals..stupid sayings. I've been off about 6 months but have been thinking maybe it's time to talk to my dr again. Not sleeping and major mood swings...even the highs seem off.

Sweetie there is no set time frame nor period to be "dealing with things". It just takes time and the right time is in YOUR time. Not mine, your mama's, your best friends, or your children. I am still taking my medicine and it is still working for me. Oh, I still get the blues sometimes, but at least I am able to function, get out of bed, eat and FOCUS on the thing I want to do and I am doing in life.

I agree shadowdancer... I've been on meds for the last 2 1/2 years. I am finally going off because I am expecting my 3rd child. I am apprehensive though because I still get the blues too. I don't believe I will ever heal completely. It's bittersweet... I've divorced the cheating ex.... remarried.. am pregnant but the pain is still very real at times.
