sma and illegal steroids

can anyone tell me any info on taking illegal steroids with sma type 3.
im 27 and am willing to give it a try if it might gain muscle?

steroids WILL NOT make you stronger. sma is neurologically based, with defects ocurring on a genetic level that create damage on a cellular level. steroids WILL cause you horrific side effects and no benefit.

sorry dude, i'm 44 with type 1 and wish i could tell you something different. check out fsma.org for an article about a new drug showing promise! stem cell research is our only hope for treatment, so vote!

Steroids are a terrible idea for us, it can make the muscles grow in size but you won't gain strength, you might even lose function as your limbs get heavier, and it'll make you more susceptible to lesions, However, I do understand how you feel,
