my bfwbpd isn't the only person with trust issues. i have them, too. and it makes all the difference realizing this when enduring his outbursts and isolation.

I deeply and sincerely believe that almost everything I do, or want to do, needs to be done better than I can do it, so my effort is just a waste. This is the result of 15 years with a overbearing step-mother and an alcoholic father. To most people, I seem lazy and unmotivated.
