I've quit using wellbutrin (twice I think)...it definitely helped, but I've also quit cold turkey....& I've used the nicotine gum to help me as well. Because I did it in the order I've listed, I guess I got better at it each time. I didn't need or want to use the Wellbutrin in more recent quits.
In my opinion, NOW is a great time to quit...over the holidays you can limit the amount of time you're exposed to others & really take care of yourself. Squeeze everyone into one or two days & then go on lock down for as much of the time as you can. Sleep. Drink lots of water. Get some exercise if you're able. Take care of yourself.
Don't put it off.
Only you can answer that question dear. There is "never" a good time for a smoker to quit.
You either quit or you don't. Use any excuse you want there are a million of them. You are in charge so what's it gonna be.....LOL
