I am thinking maybe Feb 1st as the quit day, will give me time to get the patches in hand after a payday, will give me time to keep convincing myself that I want to quit them. I am not looking forward to it at all in some ways.
Welcome to DS and this forum! Lots of wonderful & helpful folks here, many of us smoked more than 25 years. & Started smoking again and now are smoke free a day at a time, I feel for me this time its for good!
Great to come here and vent!! Be well prepared for your quit and you'll have an easier time of it. Its a day at a time or a minute sometimes!
Try to remember the 5 D's when a crave hits.
Delay, distract, deep breaths, drink water & DS. (come here & read or post both). Happy that you are choosing to be smoke free soon! There is a wealth of info here on the site to read, one is called good posts.

While you are preparing do some reading on whyquit.com because preparation is the key to a successful quit
Come here each day for the rollcall and pledge as that will keep you motivated and accountable and when you crave remember the 5 D,s distract, delay, deep breathe, drink water and DS or discuss
