I'd also calculated the money I was spending on both cigarettes (smoked at home) and Nicorette (used at work), and I was really spending a chunk of change.
I wasn't having any physical problems (yet) from the smoking.
103 days -- and I'm glad I quit!
I was hoping maybe she would quit if I did first.
And a few periods of not getting enough oxygen that scared me...like I was going to suffocate.
So here I am 45 days smoke free!!! :)
I wanted to be able to run a dog agility course without danger of collapsing, and I wanted to break that slavery to cigarettes I discovered within me. I had decided that Zyban was worth a try and during a search for side effects of it I found an online support group. That was the last straw. Within 15 minutes I'd made a doctor's appointment for the prescription, and told my (ex)wife and boss I was quitting.
