I had very strong heart palpitations when I used the strongest patch. It scared me and I quit them. The gum (2Mg) was better but I would never use 2 NRT's. Isnt the idea to get the nicotine out of your body- bot add more? Just my thoughts, but I suppose its better than smoking. Just be careful .

and overdose. Been to the hospital twice for
nicotine overdose.
Quitting smoking is very individual. Only you know how much you smoked and how much nicotine you used. Using both gum and patch is possible, depending on dosage (mgs used).
All I can say, is IF you decide to use both,
PLEASE be very careful. You can quit. You
can do it. HOW you do it, is up to you and
your individual needs and issues. Best wishes!
Smoking from all sides
Personally, I am on Chantix. I've used the patch and gum separately in the past. Any path to not smoking is a good path but I would be very concerned about mixing the two. I would consult a doctor.
My best advice is read that book and come here every day.
