This is the best thing you can do for your health and well-being. Kudos to your hubby./ Follow his lead. Think of how nice your kisses will be w/out stinking like an ashtray. Pick a quit date and read up on old posts. Let us know whenm you quit and we will all be here for you.
Also, not going outside to "the smoking section" and have cleared the car of butts.

yoga has helped. being sick was the catalyst but at the end of the day i made the decision to be a non smoker and as such, i am. not simple not hard, not easy not weak not strong none of that matters this time around so yes, a real epiphany that shifted something in my brain to see things quite differently.
It just suddenly tumbled out of me with the question, 'why wait'?
I have to confess - I am not repulsed by the smell of a cig burning. I want to inhale it. But, I don't, I walk away.

I'm at 3 days, 1 hr and 22 min....and you know what's keeping me going?? At some point, really soon,(hopefully) it will be 3 days, 1 hr and 22 min. until I see my husband. And I get to hug him and kiss him, without the smell or taste of cigarettes on either one of us...
