I would check out the ER or the 'Doc in a Box' before I'd smoke. Think about it..if you lose your job..you have no money to buy smokes.
You need a pill dear not a cigarette. Don't use Bi-Polar as an excuse to smoke.
As far as cigarettes: take a deep breath, fight through the craving. You know smoking will only make a bad situation worse! Stick close to the board this weekend, let the folks here help you get through it!
Prayers for you.

Stopping to smoke at work or at home will only delay you further with the work that needs to be accomplished. Get some sugar free lollipops or candy to suck on and tackle the work before you....one task at a time. Do what is hardest or most important and concentrate (I know that is difficult with the work pressure you are under and bipolar acting up....so ask for help from your doctor/therapist).
I know you can do this......the nicodemon is just putting you through a test......show him who's boss...ok?
I'm sorry you are going through a hard & stressful time right now. But like everyone else said, smoking won't change anything or "fix" the problems. I have faith that you can get hrough these issues without smoking! Stick close to the group right now.
I will keep you in my thoughts & prayers.
Blessings,
Jess
You have a great attitude for keeping your quit. Your health has to be #1 on your priority list and it seems it is. My 27 year old daughter is Bipolar so I have lived with it also and very much understand what you live with but from a different angle.
What you are NOT doing is giving yourself the pats on the back for how well you are doing. Yes, you will struggle worse then others, BUT YOU HAVEN'T SMOKED!!!!!!!! Please give yourself credit for that. I am very proud of you.

Proud of you !!!! Keep up the good work!!
Its very hard to find strategies to get thru bad situations when we have relied on cigs to get us through.
Could you try some deep breathing and a walk. OR simply trying to go home and have a sleep.
Well done for putting a call into the doctor
I hope you get to feel better real soon
