if he feels that bad you could tell him to call the doc and ask what to do, but if its a cold, they will tell him to just take some over counter stuff.

this is only my humble opinion but I think you need to make a choice, your health or his. It's sorta clear that he puts a premium on his issues when you clearly need some help with your health. You do NOT have a screw loose, you have nicotine a addiction and want to overcome it. That tells me you are pretty smart! I don't know how much I can help you with your relationship stuff but I can tell you...Quitting smoking will give you self esteem big time! It's not easy but you can quit just for you and the benefits begin right away....including setting an example for your smoking family and smelling like the rose that you are!

This shows you are both strong and determined. Give yourself a pat on the back and hold your heads high...you done good!
Jasmine ~ I look around and it amazes me what people will put up with in order to keep others happy and stay in relationships. I'm not saying to dump them, but stand up for yourself. I know it is hard to do, but I too had to learn the hard way, but I started loving myself and learned boundaries which came with a lot of "no's" to those that needed it for both our sakes. I lost a few peeps along the ways, but the ones that are still beside me are the ones I really want....they stood beside me through thick and thin....through all my icky faults and tears. I'm no longer on "mark down".....I keep Helen Reddy's song, "I am Woman" handy for those times I really need a pick-me-up and reminder.
I'm so glad you kept your quit through it all. I'm glad you decided to take care of you....WTG!!! The Siatica nerve is nothing to play around with and is very painful and lasting (unlike a common cold that will go away within a week). Sending you healing vibes and lots of love ((((((((((((gentle hugs)))))))))))))

Great minds think alike. I had no intention of going back to smoking which is why I got an e cig. Not the best answer but no cigarette was the key.
